Short Path or Molecular Distillation
Units are used for distillation
of heat sensitive products under vacuum
up to 0.001 mbar.
Skid mounted units are provided with
special vacuum systems, piping and
instrumentation.

pressure as low as 0.001 mbar.
Materials can be boiled at
significantly reduced temperatures
at such low pressures.
- Operating
temperature up to 350 °C
(650 °F). With low pressure
and high heating temperature,
many of the hard to distill
products can be successfully
processed.
- Residence
time of a few seconds - important
for heat sensitive products.
- Suitable
for viscous products.
- Excellent
turn down capability.
- Low
product holdup - good for
hazardous materials.
- Low
power requirement.
