of volatile impurities of bulk drugs,

Path Distillation Units |
Distillation
of heat sensitive products under vacuum
up to 0.001 mbar with processing time
of a few seconds in a continuous,
single pass operation.
Used for distillation of bulk drugs,
natural and synthetic vitamins, esters,
epoxy resins, fish oil, fatty acids
and derivatives, glycerides, tocopherol.

| Agitated
Thin Film Dryers |
Continuous
drying of heat sensitive products
with total solvent recovery under
vacuum if required. Processing time
of a few seconds. Slurry or wet cake
is taken directly as feed. These dryers
are indirectly heated and therefore
air does not come in contact with
the product. The most energy efficient
dryer in market – thermal efficiency
exceeds 90%.
Used for drying of pharmaceuticals,
bulk drugs, intermediates, dyes, pigments,
food, herbal products, organic and
inorganic salts, and recovery of valuable
chemicals from salts bearing streams.

| Long
Tube Evaporators |
We
manufacture Falling Film,
Rising Film or Forced
Circulation type for concentration
of dilute products. Steam economy
for large throughputs is achieved
by using multiple effects and thermocompressor.
When used for pre-concentration, these
evaporators reduce the size of thin
film evaporators or dryers. |

| Liquid-Liquid
Extractors |
Countercurrent
and continuous extraction between
aqueous and organic phases. Continuous
extractors need 30 to 50 % less solvent
and less power compared to batch operation,
requires less manpower and are easy
to automate. Separation to ppm level
is possible and scalability from one
capacity to another is better.
Used for extraction of bulk drugs
from reaction mass, agrochemicals,
plant extracts, biochemicals recovery
of heavy organic compounds and effluent
streams, washing for impurity removal
to ppm level.

boiling points is possible using structured
packing exhibiting higher efficiency
& lower pressure drop. Use of
falling film evaporator & agitated
thin film evaporator as reboiler improves
quality & yields while processing

| Zero
Discharge System for Effluents |
These
are meant for effluent streams with
inorganic salts. It consists of multiple
effect evaporators of a suitable type
for volume reduction and a sludge-dryer
for removing balance water content
and convert the effluent stream into
powder.
Multiple effect evaporators along
with a thermocompressor require less
steam. Higher concentration of slurries
is possible because of forced circulation
evaporators using axial flow pumps
prevent scaling and fouling. Axial
flow pumps improve performance, reduce
power requirement as compared to centrifugal
pumps.
Regenerative evaporator uses medium
pressure steam from boiler and produces
low-pressure steam of equivalent amount
that is used in the plant. This dramatically
reduces the evaporation costs.

Dryer |
Converts
effluent slurries into dry powder
mass in a single step. It works continuously
& hence a small, compact unit
meets the requirements. The dryer
also handles contaminated solvents
and distills off up to 98% of the
feed in a single pass.

for feed quantities from 100 kg to

up to 2800 C |
